The provincial seal includes a picture of a brown tub. Inside the
tub are green rice leaves switching back and forth with each
other and 4 yellow ears of rice within a circle with light-green
ground. The external edge of the circle is brown and the
internal edge is white. Beneath the tub, inside the circle are
Thai paintings with yellow color and the Thai word “Ang Thong
Province” is inside. Definition: Ang Thong Province is a lowland
looking like a basin. Its topography is suitable for
cultivation. Thus, the provincial seal depicts the golden tub
which means the abundance of the province – there are ears of
rice inside the tub and rice leaves which mean farming, a
primary occupation of people in this region.
